The Greene County junior class will host a chili supper Tuesday, Jan. 16, at the Elks lodge one block east of the middle school.
Serving will be from 5 to 7 pm. The meal includes a bowl of chili, crackers, relishes, pie or dessert, and milk or coffee. Tickets are $6 each for ages 6 and older; ages 5 and younger eat free. Chili refills are $1 and milk refills are $.50.
Tickets may be purchased from any junior, at the door, or by calling the high school at 515-386-2188.
All proceeds from the junior class chili supper will go towards the 2018 prom. The banquet and dance will be held April 7 at the Wild Rose Event Center, and will have a “Starry Night” theme.
The Greene County High School girls’ and boys’ basketball teams will host Nevada on Tuesday for a Mega Night in the Greene County Middle School gym and the Greene County Community Center.
We hope to see everyone there to support the junior class and the Rams!
